Following the success of the O/70 World Cup in Thailand, we want to start getting both O/70 and O/75 Oldyroos teams early in preparation for the upcoming O/70 and O/75 World Cup in Cardiff, Wales, August 19 to 23 2024.
Your OASIS president has registered and paid the O/70 team registration deposit of $400 as we know our O/70 Oldyroos will participate.
Those who were born in or before 1954, plus two under-age (born in or before 1956) players are allowed to join the O/70 team. If you want to participate please come forward, as the first 20 to put their names in and pay the $80 fee will be in the O/70 team. Please note that the O/70 team will play 7 of 60 mins games on 11 v 11 full field.
Those who were born in or before 1949, plus two under-age (born in or before 1951) players are allowed to form an O/75 team. If you want to participate please come forward, as we will need a maximum of 14 players in the O/75 team to play 7 of 60 mins games on 7 v 7 half field.
We are looking at having some of the 1974 World Cup Socceroos to play in our Oldryoos team as a 50-year reunion game.
